A Speyside malt distillery that is today part of the Edrington Group following its acquisition of Highland Distillers in 1999. Unusually, the distillery and its brand had different owners between 2010 and 2017 when the label was briefly sold to Berry Brothers & Rudd in London. Distillery Bottling is a term used to define a whisky bottled by the company that produced it, using the official branding. This limited edition 32 Year Old single malt celebrates the legacy of John Smith, who served for 32 years as the Glenrothes distillery manager from 1897 to 1929. It was originally only sold to private clients and select partners of the distillery.
