Nose
Perfumed, dense and dark, with a pronounced sherried note coupled with soft malt, prunes and apricots. Slight acetone and oak, with black pepper, creosote and earth.
Palate
Rich sherry, slightly bitter oak and red fruits combining well with cinnamon, nutmeg, cocoa powder and black pepper. More red fruits emerge over time.
Finish
Long and lingering finish, with the mellow sweetness and red fruits dominant along with the slightly bitter oak and vestigial hints of cinnamon and nutmeg.
