Nose
A mild fruitiness of apricots, oranges, and ripe juicy pears, mixed with beehive notes and beautiful wax. Hints of light mead, nectar, dried wildflowers, sunflower oil, sweet almonds, or marzipan. Notes of leather and tree resin, with a polished fruity-waxy side.
Palate
Lovely with plenty of ripe fruits including pears, oranges, yellow plums, and gooseberries. Subtle guava in the background, with a natural old Speyside character and Clynelish-y waxiness. Some Earl Grey with honey, a slice of cake, and polished wood with hardly any spicy notes.
Finish
Medium long, with the fruit cocktail returning and never drying. Subtle, gentle, with more honeyed notes towards the aftertaste and some pink grapefruit syrup.
