Description

Hidden in a tree-lined gorge, the Glenrothes distillery is nestled in the core of the Speyside region, a stone's throw from the Burn of Rothes and the Mannoch Hills. Producing malt whiskies using exact replicas of the original 1879 pot stills, the Glenrothes hallmark is to use Scottish barley, malted in traditional Saladin boxes. This bottling is part of Douglas Laing's Xtra Old Particular (XOP) range, which features aged and rare single cask whiskies bottled at natural cask strength, reflecting their 'As Natural As It Gets' philosophy.
