Description

This single malt from Glentauchers was distilled in 2006 and matured for 18 years in two refill hogsheads. It was bottled in October 2024 by Dornoch-based independent bottler Thompson Bros, releasing a total of 408 bottles. The whisky is presented non-chill-filtered and at natural colour, with label artwork by KMG.

Nose
Dry Muesli covered in Lemon Curd; Sultanas, toasted barley, and dried coconut. Toasted sourdough, lemon peel, elderflower cordial and lime wine gums.
Palate
The lemon theme continues with fresh peel, posset and gums. Lovely cereal notes of toasted barley and oats. Creamy with salted butter and soft vanilla sponge cake.
Finish
Grapefruit juice, citrus peel, spearmint. Crushed aspirin, chalk and ground ginger.
