meadowkoi3 OctThe first-fill bourbon barrel is clearly specified; the citrus and oak appeal.
Mint on the nose and menthol in the finish make this especially appealing to my taste. Sweet lemon and orange candy offer a lively counterpoint to the prominent oak.
The citrus and malt appeal to me, but the prominent oak and bitter lemon zest make this sound a little less relaxed than my usual pick. Still, there’s plenty here to like.
copperkoi3 JunBerry notes on the nose meet lemon and orange candy on the palate, giving the fruit character a clear citrus direction. Prominent oak and a finish with bitter lemon zest make this feel more structured than simply sweet.
