Description

Glentauchers distillery, located in the Speyside region of Scotland, was founded in 1897. While primarily known for producing whisky for blends like Ballantine's, it has a cult-like presence among independent bottlers. This particular release, SMWS 63.66, is an 8-year-old single malt distilled in 2011 and bottled by The Scotch Malt Whisky Society, yielding 227 bottles from a first-fill ex-bourbon barrel. It is known by its SMWS name 'Flowers In A Cake Tin'.
