Description

A Highland malt distillery and one of the oldest in Scotland, founded in 1763. Its modern history begins in 1959 when saved from closure by James Fairlie, and it is today owned by Glenturret Holding, a joint venture between the Lalique Group and Swiss businessman, Hansjörg Wyss. This particular release, 'The Towser Cask', is part of the Distillery Exclusive Exceptional Casks Range, bottled in 2017 from a 2003 vintage. It is a tribute to Towser the cat, who was the distillery's famous mouser and passed away in 1987, with this bottling marking 30 years since her passing.
