Description

A Highland malt distillery and one of the oldest in Scotland, founded in 1763. Its modern history begins in 1959. The distillery is situated on the river Turret, near Crieff in Perthshire. There is documentary evidence of illicit distilling as early as 1775, and some of the buildings on the present site date from 1775.
