Description
A former Highland malt distillery that was located outside Peterhead on the east coast of Scotland. The distillery spent its whole life providing fillings for blends, latterly and most notably for the Long John brand. It was shut down by Allied Distillers in 1983 and has since been demolished. This particular bottling is a 30-year-old single malt, distilled in 1966 and bottled in 1996 by independent bottler Signatory Vintage. It was drawn from a single cask and is one of only 180 bottles produced.
