Rich, old, and gracious with an inebriating bouquet of red fruits (blackberries, cherries, currants), dark chocolate, cardamom, cinnamon, candied orange, and apricot. Notes of black tea, prunes, dried apricots, old wood, and a touch of wasabi and basil.
Palate
Full-bodied and exuberant, with cherry wrapped in chocolate, white pepper, ginger, and a delicate balsamic touch of rhubarb. Dense oak syrup, dried fruits (prunes, apricots, raisins), tropical fruits, orange peel marmalade, and black pepper.
Finish
Medium-long and fiery, with notes of cherries, apricots, honey, white pepper, dark chocolate, tropical fruits, cloves, and burnt caramel.
