Description

GlenWyvis 2018 Vintage Batch #2 is the second release from the community-owned GlenWyvis distillery, established in 2015 in Dingwall, Scottish Highlands. This single malt was distilled in 2018 and bottled in 2022 at 46.5% ABV. It was matured for 3 years in a combination of 60% first-fill Tennessee Whiskey casks, 25% first-fill Oloroso hogsheads, and 15% refill Scotch whisky hogsheads. The distillery is known for its sustainable practices, being powered entirely by renewable energy and using locally sourced Concerto barley. This release is non-chill filtered and of natural color, with an outturn of 8000 bottles.
