- Malt, breakfast cereals, peanuts, apples, pears, caramel, milk fudge and a pinch of cinnamon; clean, hints of fresh fruit, sweet malt; banana yoghurt, grist and orange oil; crisp, clean aroma with hints of fresh fruit and sweet malty notes.
- Palate
- Sweet breakfast cereals, brown sugar, apples, grapefruit, a pinch of white pepper and a pleasant bitterness of oak; dry, soft, sweetness of vanilla, hints of citrus; surprisingly full-bodied with layers of vanilla pod, charred oak and lime cordial; an initially dry, slightly citrus note softens over time to reveal softer vanilla sweetness.
- Finish
- Medium long, with notes of cereal, baked apples, bananas, vanilla, pepper and oak; long finish, fruity, banana and malt; oily malt and marmalade; adding a dash of water may haze the whisky but release the classic Grants flavours of banana fruitiness and rich maltiness.
