Nose
Oak, ripe cherry, fresh raspberry, apple, sweet pear, woodland spices, sweet vanilla, and red wine.
Palate
Silky and sweet mouth-coating texture with notes of dried cranberries, red apple, clove spice, grated nutmeg, succulent fruits, seasoned oak, and crisp barley. Wine's soft tannins gradually show their presence.
Finish
Toasted wood and pot still spices gently fading, with the fruits and red wine seasoning taking the final bow. Long and layered, with a lingering tannin grip without drying, leaving a mouthcoating sweetness.
