Nose
Opens with a welcome medley of fruits including sweet green apple, ripe pear and juicy pineapple, beautifully balanced by the sweet vanilla from the oak. Hints of freshly cut grass and a delicate spice note.
Palate
Initial burst of pot still spices, accompanied by delicate notes of clove oil, orchard fruits and citrus zest. Honeyed sweetness while the bourbon cask influence brings forth notes of warming gingerbread with the sweet and indulgent creaminess of crème brûlée and toasted almonds.
Finish
Lingering finish which sees the fruits gently fade, allowing the spices and oak to have the final say.
