Description
Haig Gold Label is a historic blended Scotch whisky from John Haig & Co. Ltd., one of the oldest Scotch whisky distillers, with roots dating back to the 17th century and the founding of Cameronbridge distillery in 1824. It was one of the best-selling Scotch whiskies globally until the 1970s. Now owned by Diageo, this blend contains approximately 40% malt whisky, often including spirits from Glenkinchie and Linkwood distilleries, and grain whisky primarily from Cameronbridge. It is matured in refill ex-Bourbon casks from Kentucky. Haig Gold Label is known for its smooth, mild, and approachable character, with no age statement, focusing on consistency and quality.
