Description

A Japanese malt distillery located in the town of the same name. It developed immense collectable status following its closure in 2000, the same year this whisky was distilled. After the famous 'Card' series was bottled by Ichiro's Malt, Ichiro Akuto, grandson of the founder, managed to save the remaining casks of Hanyu whisky and now releases them through his own brand, Ichiro's Malt. This particular Hanyu 2000 Chibidaru Cask Finish was bottled in 2012 for Number One Drinks Company Limited, and was finished in a Chibidaru cask, which is a type of quarter cask.
