Nose
Very light and floral, with soft tropical fruits like pineapple, kumquat, and Asian pear. Distinct mineral notes, hints of chlorine, mineral water, and sandstone. Fatty-nutty flavours of sunflower seeds, macadamia nuts, and canola oil. Cool aloe vera greenness, and an inexplicable hint of artichoke hearts. Cereal with milk, honey, orange peel, melted butter, and a bakery smell with fresh apple pie and cream, rice pudding with toffee and caramel sweetness.
Palate
Lightly oily texture. Very floral and delicate – clean laundry, nougat, lime cordial, pears, neutral oil. Floral and slightly nutty on the development. More mineral notes – clean mineral oil, light shale, soda water. Tropical juiciness comes in on the back end, along with white peaches and orange flowers. Very viscous, almost like machine oil. Fruity and woody notes, with peaches and mango dominating. Vanilla and limestone. More tangerine and a hint of IRN BRU fizziness.
Finish
Medium. More robust flowers, citrus oils, key lime pie, juicy tropical fruits, honeydew melon, more nougat. Cereal notes and orange tangy goodness linger. Lovely, fruity finish. Very clean and delightful dram.
