Description

Heaven's Door is an award-winning collection of hand-crafted American whiskeys developed in partnership with Bob Dylan. The Bootleg Series by Heaven's Door is named after Bob Dylan's famous 'Bootleg Series' of albums, the line-up invites people to experience the art of craft whiskey on a new level and will feature unique and unreleased whiskeys, including special blends, barrel finishes and rare expressions. This Vol. V is an 18-year-old straight bourbon whiskey secondarily finished in Spanish vermouth rouge casks, bottled at 114 proof, and presented in a bespoke leather journal with Bob Dylan's artwork.

Rich and complex with citrus zest, Concord grape, maple sugar, baking spices, raisins, figs, and an oxidized fruit lift from vermouth. Underlying notes of oak char, allspice, tobacco leaf, and subtle vanilla.
Palate
Velvety mouthfeel with notes of toffee, rich caramel, honey, vanilla, and candied citrus. Also features roasted walnut, dark chocolate, leafy tobacco, red fruits, praline, cinnamon sugar, and a delicate fruity dryness from the vermouth.
Finish
Medium to long, with firm oak and spice, including black tea, allspice, and cinnamon. Lingering citrus-fruit sweetness, savory, and dry notes.
