Description

American Single Cask is an independent bottler of American craft whiskeys. It started as an idea of combining their love of independent bottlers of Scotch with the boom in American craft whiskey distilling. They visit craft distilleries, pick single casks full of character and quality and bottle them to the same high standards set by the many great independent bottlers who came before them. This particular release, Cask #3, is a 5-year-old Chocolate Malted Barley Whiskey from Heritage Distilling Co., distilled from a mash bill of 10% chocolate malted barley and 90% unmalted barley. The bottler notes describe it as having a complex variety of chocolates, peach cobbler, and sandalwood, with the intense childhood pleasure of eating brownie mix distilled.
