Highland #1 42 Years Old TBWC Batch 1 is a 42-year-old single malt from an undisclosed Highland distillery, bottled in 2021 by That Boutique-y Whisky Company. The label is filled with what might be clues to the whisky's origin, but it could just as well be TBWC tricking us. We honestly don't know either, but you can't go wrong with a well-balanced 42-year-old whisky! Only 473 bottles of Highland #1 42 Years Old TBWC Batch 1 have been released.

Lots of tropical fruit brightness here, with dried mango and pineapple chunks galore. A slow build of herbaceous richness grows in the background. Vibrant tropical fruits on the nose.
Palate
Cinnamon, anise, caraway, melted butter, and plum jam, all balanced wonderfully together. Warming allspice, plum tart with buttery pastry and charred pineapple.
Finish
Vanilla pod richness, with herbal elements once again making their way to the fore. A herbal, vanilla finish.
