Nose
Very fresh and soft with light peat smoke and herbs. A subtle sweetness with sugar plums, honey and cotton candy, ripe orchard pears, bittersweet grapefruit, delicate geranium and sweet violet.
Palate
Smooth with a more noticeable peat and smoke influence. A little spicy and bitter, but still elegant. Some tobacco, leather and granola, with a sweeter side of dates and orange jam. Creamy and sweet like toffee and forest honey, with oak and tingling spices.
Finish
Medium and smoky with a hint of rubber (sulphur). Intensely fruity with hints of freshly-cut wood and heathery peat smoke lingering. Sweetness fades to bitterness, with dry tea tannins and an echo of orange jam.
