Description

That Boutique-Y Whisky Company bottles Scotch single malt and grain whiskies from a variety of renowned distilleries, adorned with humorous puns presented in cultish comic-book style labels. This particular release is Batch #1 of Highland Park, featuring a cartoon of the attendees of Maltstock 2012, with one addition to the crew - the ghost of Charlemagne!

Nose
A rather gentle nose with flavours of vanilla and some slightly burnt caramel. Touches of spice and wax. Lightly-browned toast with a good helping of butter and honey. Soon after you'll get plenty of Highland Park smoke.
Palate
Gentle and soft with dry oak and weak tea. Red apple and orange blossom, with more sweet smoke wafting through.
Finish
Goes back to the spicy touches and doesn't last very long. It turns a bit mineral-y, with flavours of stone and iron. Spectacularly long and satisfying.
