Description

Highland Park Cask Strength Release No.5 is the fifth entry in Highland Park's acclaimed Cask Strength series, launched in 2024. This robust and intense single malt Scotch whisky is bottled straight from the cask at 64.7% ABV without chill-filtration or added color. It is matured predominantly in first-fill, sherry-seasoned European oak casks, including Pedro Ximénez casks, along with refill casks, ex-bourbon casks, and a small quantity of first-fill, sherry-seasoned American oak casks. This combination creates a complex and balanced profile, showcasing the distillery's signature balance of peat, sweetness, and spice in its purest form. It is described as a limited edition release.
