This is a rare vintage 1989 24-year-old Highland Park Orkney Islands single malt scotch whisky, bottled by Càrn Mòr as part of the very special Celebration of the Cask Black Gold limited single cask series. Distilled on 25th October 1989, it was aged in a sherry hogshead with cask no. 3214 for over 24 years before 258 hand-numbered bottles were yielded on 31st March 2014 at cask strength 49.4% vol. It is a rare example of long-aged sherried Highland Park and an outstanding Scotch whisky. Càrn Mòr is an independent bottler associated with Morrison Scotch Whisky Distillers (formerly Morrison and MacKay Whisky Merchants).
