Nose
Initially, layers of vanilla and toffee sweetness, with floral notes, hints of heather, dried citrus fruits, nutmeg, coconut, and a subtle smokiness. Also notes of sandalwood, orange blossom, plum jam, heather honey, quince jelly, tea, mint, and rhubarb pie.
Palate
Citrus notes, caramel, cinnamon, soft floral flavors, slight oak tones, and classic Highland Park spicy smokiness. Also mint, dried fruits, liquorice, lemon marmalade, orange marmalade, quinces, plum jam, honeydew, and macaroons.
Finish
Lingers with orange bitters and embers, passion fruit, light liquorice, and a refreshing touch of mint. Long, smooth but firm, delicately spicy and phenolic, candied, honeyed, with a fresh and clean aftertaste.
