Nose
The smoky burnt heather aroma gently wafts from the glass with a light marine overture, luring into a sweet spiciness from the bourbon cask, with sea breeze salinity, heather in bloom, and ripe fruit like apple, pear, and melon, all encapsulated in smouldering peat smoke.
Palate
A magical combination of peat smoke, caramelised oak, succulent fruit, toasted cereal, peppery spice, and saline swell, where the spirit and oak are one, with the warmth of peat embers seducing the taste buds.
Finish
Long, peppery, salty, and mildly drying, with big malt accented by lemon, like a lemon-frosted cookie, and a subtle savory, musty edge from the peat, with noticeable oak and a little spice.
