Description

This Highland Park 17 Year Old John Rae Arctic Explorer is a limited edition single malt Scotch whisky, bottled at cask strength of 54.8% ABV. It was matured for 17 years in a combination of ex-bourbon, refill, and sherry seasoned American and European oak casks. This release honors the Orkney-born Arctic explorer, John Rae, and was bottled in 2021 with an outturn of 1212 bottles. Proceeds from its sale support the restoration of John Rae's boyhood home in Orphir, Orkney.
