Description

A special limited bottling from Highland Park, bottled in celebration of RNLI service at Stromness on Orkney's 150th Anniversary. The charity was founded in 1824, with royal patronage, as the National Institution for the Preservation of Life from a shipwreck after an appeal made by Sir William Hillary. The name changed to the Royal National Lifeboat Institution in 1854. This release commemorates 150 years since the RNLI established its station at Stromness in 1867, with 1,867 bottles released in January 2018. Highland Park pledged to donate a portion of the sales to local RNLI activities.
