This Highland Park 12 Years Old Orkneyinga Legacy is a limited edition island single malt Scotch whisky, released in 2018 with 5,000 bottles produced. It celebrates Orkney's rich Norse heritage, drawing inspiration from the legendary Orkneyinga Saga and supporting the Orkneyinga Saga Centre. It is based on the award-winning 12-year-old Viking Honour but bottled at a marrying strength of 46% ABV, showcasing Highland Park's signature style with a balance of honeyed sweetness, gentle peat smoke, and aromatic complexity, matured in oak casks.
