Highland Park The Light 17 Year Old is a limited edition single malt Scotch whisky from the Orkney Islands, bottled at 52.9% ABV. It is the second release in a two-part series, created to celebrate the spring and summer months on Orkney, contrasting with 'The Dark' which represented autumn and winter. This 17-year-old expression was matured exclusively in refill American oak casks, showcasing a brighter, fruit-driven profile with Highland Park's signature heather-peat character. It was bottled in 2017 with a total outturn of 28,000 bottles worldwide. The whisky is presented in a pale green embossed bottle with a serpent-dragon design, housed in a handcrafted wooden frame, reflecting the brand's Viking heritage. It has received a Double Gold Medal at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition and a 92-point score from Whisky Advocate.
