Description

The largest and oldest malt whisky distillery in the Orkney archipelago, located in Kirkwall on the main island. Founded in 1798, it is today part of the holdings of the Edrington Group and its whisky is world-renowned for the unique flavour provided to it by local Orcadian peat. Highland Park's 15 Year Old Viking Heart is a standout island whisky and a part of the whisky's core range. It was reintroduced in 2021 and is matured predominantly in sherry-seasoned European and American casks, as well as a few refill casks. It is presented at 44% ABV in a striking ceramic decanter, created in partnership with Wade Ceramics, inspired by ancient earthenware vessels.
