Description

Since her return to Edinburgh in 1561, Mary Queen of Scots - The Highland Queen - has been a symbol of the independent spirit of Scotland. This exquisite pairing of the Highland Queen Century Edition 50 & 52 Years Old is presented in an elegant wooden box with two Highland Queen drinking glasses. The Highland Queen 50 Years Old is a blend that combines whisky from Highland Queen's 1964 Highland Single Malt with different grain whiskies from the Invergordon and Port Dundas distilleries. This is then stored in new sherry butts to produce a whisky of incredible smoothness, richness and a touch of sweetness. The Highland Queen 52 Years Old is bottled from 3 remaining casks that were distilled in 1962. This exceptional single malt is aged in oak barrels resulting in a sweet and creamy drop with flavours of marzipan and vanilla.
