Description

The name "Highland Queen" was given by Macdonald & Muir Ltd to commemorate the association between Mary Queen of Scots and Leith Harbour where she landed in 1561 on arrival from France. At one time the company were also owners of Glenmorangie and Glen Moray. This Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky, part of the Majesty series, was distilled in 1971 and bottled in 2018, making it 46 years old. It underwent a Sherry Cask Finish. The brand is now owned by Picard Vins & Spiritueux and is the official blend of Tullibardine Distillery. This release has an outturn of 315 bottles.
