Description

A subsidiary of The Glenmorangie Company which is in turn part of the LVMH group. A historic name, the company was first established back in 1893 and today it is principally engaged in the production and marketing of the LVMH single malt brands, Ardbeg and Glenmorangie.

Palate
A balanced array of sweet barley sugar and vanilla ice cream with subtle hints of spiced green apples. Smooth with dried fig and stewed apple, building into toasted oak, cinnamon, gentle nutmeg, and a light citrus peel.
Finish
Long tongue tingling, black pepper and green summer fruits, with a lasting creamy smooth finish. Medium-long, with lingering oak tannins, dried fruit, a faint echo of spice, and a pleasant dryness.
