Description

Wm Cadenhead's is Scotland's oldest independent bottler, originally based in Aberdeen before being acquired by the Mitchell family in 1969. This 40-year-old Highland Single Malt is part of their 'Enigma' series, which features whiskies from undisclosed distilleries. Distilled in 1985 and matured in Bourbon hogsheads, it was bottled in August 2025 at 44.5% ABV. This limited edition release of 636 bottles is non-chill filtered and has no artificial coloring, offering an authentic and refined tasting experience. The Enigma series allows Cadenhead's to offer unique bottlings that don't fit into their other ranges, while providing as much information as possible about the mysterious liquid.
