Nose
Freshly baked apple pie with cinnamon, raisins, sweet crust pastry and vanilla custard. Cherry, toffee and floral oaky sweetness along with a rich raisin aroma. Marzipan with lemon curd and honey, sugary redcurrant juice and some strawberries dipped in chocolate. Violet Crunch bars with some floral scent, pollen of roses, violets and dandelions complete with the redolence of fresh mown summer grass.
Palate
Marzipan icing with hints of vanilla bean over malty and clean oak foundations. Fizzy sherbet overtones lend a lovely zing and brightness. Delicate yet eloquent, with a tingle on the lips.
Finish
Long and clean with a lingering semi-sweet sherbet fizz with hints of almond providing a very pleasant semi-dry conclusion. Short and key, a key lime pie chocolate and then licking chocolate orange mousse off the back of a wooden spoon.
