Description

This Hyde No. 9 Iberian Cask is a triple distilled Single Malt Irish whiskey, crafted from 100% malted Irish grain barley at a single Irish distillery. It was initially matured for at least 8 years in 200-litre flame-charred ex-Bourbon oak casks from Kentucky, USA. Following this, it underwent a 9-month finishing period in 200-litre first-fill vintage Tawny Port oak casks sourced from the village of Pinhão in the Douro Valley, Northern Portugal. This limited edition release, bottled in 2020, commemorates President Douglas Hyde's 1906 tour of the United States and is non-chill filtered.
