Nose
On the first nose, gentle peat appears opposite juicy aromas of lemon, menthol and vanilla. Allowed to breathe, tropical fruit (banana, pineapple) takes centre stage. Herbal infusions (vervain, bay leaf) then refresh the aroma palette.
Palate
Taut, distinguished. The herbaceous attack (dried grass, cut hay) also shows pepper. Damp earth flavours lay the foundation for the flavour palette. The tasting then continues with delicious notes of toast and nuts (chestnut, date).
Finish
Long, full. Coconut milk at first spreads across the taste buds. Continuing on, candied pear and rosemary form a particularly well-balanced sequence. The invigorating finish is spicy (cardamom, clove, fresh ginger). [3, 9]
