Description

This is a unique Japanese blended malt whisky, a result of an unprecedented collaboration and cask exchange between the Chichibu and Mars Shinshu (Komagatake) distilleries, initiated in 2015. The blend of single malts from both distilleries was matured at the Chichibu distillery in a combination of ex-bourbon, American oak, and sherry casks. This limited edition release of 10,200 bottles was bottled in 2021 at 53.0% ABV, non-chill filtered, and with natural color. It represents a new age of cooperation in Japanese whisky, showcasing a harmonious fusion of flavors and aromas.
