Sweet and rounded with notes of biscuits, honeysuckle, apple, oak, vanilla, sandalwood, and hints of anise and cinnamon. Fruity notes of mirabelle, damson, quince paste, red fruit jelly (raspberry, strawberry), and caramel candy.
Palate
Spicy kick with nutmeg, cinnamon, pepper, and young malts. Fruity notes of pear, prune, orange, peach, and tropical fruits. Herbal notes of dry grass and a slight bitterness.
Finish
Medium to long, drying and slightly bitter with notes of mint, ginger, liquorice, oak, tannins, and baking spices.
