Description

A former Japanese whisky distillery that was built by Sanraku Shuzo Co and started distilling malt whisky in 1958. It was later transformed into a grain distillery with the installation of a Coffey still in 1969. Having closed in the 1980s, bottlings of its single grain are incredibly rare. Ichiro Akuto rescued the maturing stock and released expressions under his Ichiro's Malt label.
