This Ichiro's Malt & Grain Single Cask #4992 is a World Blended Whisky from Chichibu Distillery, Japan, created by master distiller Ichiro Akuto. It is a curated blend of malt and grain whiskies sourced from Scotland, Ireland, Canada, the USA, and Japan. These whiskies were a minimum of 10 years old when blended, and then underwent an additional 10 years of maturation in a 3rd-fill bourbon cask in Japan's accelerated aging climate, resulting in a whisky over 20 years old. This particular single cask release is an Alberta exclusive, part of the Canada Premiere I series. It is bottled at 60% ABV and is likely non-chill filtered.
