Description

Ichiro's Malt Malt & Grain Limited Edition 2021 is a 'World Blended Whisky' crafted by Ichiro Akuto, founder of Chichibu Distillery. It combines malt whiskies from Chichibu and the former Hanyu distilleries, grain whisky from the Kawasaki distillery, and whiskies sourced from Scotland, Canada, the USA, and Ireland. The components are aged in bourbon and sherry barrels, with some aged for at least 10 years, and others ranging from 20 to 40 years. This release is non-chill filtered and natural in color, bottled at 48.5% ABV. It was recognized as 'World's Best' in its category at the World Whisky Awards.
