Description

There was a lot of demand to make an Ichiro's malt as a gift. There was little quantity, but, in response to the demand, this stylish bottle which it was easy to present price wise was released. Ichiro's MWR is a vatting of various single malts from more than one distillery that have been aged in Japanese Mizunara Wood. Non coloured & non-chill-filtered

Very floral and fragrant, with woody and incense notes (sandalwood), grassiness, sweet aromas (mint), strong honeyed sweetness, citrus (lemon peel, grapefruit, orange), sweet apple, plum sake, and a hint of ethanol.
Palate
Tangy and spicy upfront, with a peppery kick, honey and fruity sweetness (caramelized apple, citrus), woodiness, sour and bitter notes, ginger, apples mixed with white grapes, floral notes, subtle oak, bitter chocolate, and peaty elements.
Finish
Relatively short, with lingering sweetness and peppery spiciness, woody bitterness, a faint oily texture, fading quickly, sandalwood-like aroma, complex and delicate, spicy and sweet, with woody and peaty elements intertwined.
