Description

Signatory was founded by Andrew Symington in 1999. After discovering single cask single malt whisky while managing Prestonfield House Hotel, Andrew bought his first cask, a Glenlivet 1968, and is now one of the largest independent bottlers in Scotland. As of 2002, Signatory Vintage Whisky company is also the owner of the Edradour distillery. This Imperial bottling is from Hogsheads Cask Number: 50189 & 50190.

Rich and full with notes of nuts, orange, overripe apple, malt, vanilla caramel, honey, citrus, hops, marzipan, pineapple, chalk dust, aniseed, wood varnish, bandaids, foamed whole milk, tar, and spring lilac.
Palate
Bitter-sweet arrival with oranges, butter caramels, fruits like apple, pears, mango, kumquat, and peaches, cinnamon buns, malt, citrus, vanilla sticks, peppery notes, oily mouthfeel, linseed, rye bread, vanillin, white pepper, french pastry, butter, ice cream, and rubber grommets.
Finish
Medium length with malt, lemon zest, creamy and aromatic notes, a spice and herb blend, vegetable broth, brown sugar, allspice, short, bitter, mouth drying, pineapple juice, oily, and floral notes.
