Description
A coastal malt distillery located outside Speyside town of Buckie, Inchgower was built in 1871 and acquired by Arthur Bell & Sons in 1938, becoming a key component of its Bell's blends. It remains primarily in service to blended Scotch brand today as part of the extensive Diageo portfolio. This particular bottling is from Adelphi, an independent bottler known for selecting single casks or small batch releases with an emphasis on texture, structure, and character. This Inchgower was distilled in 2010 and matured for 12 years in a single Palo Cortado sherry butt, bottled in 2023 as a limited release of 512 bottles.
