Description
A coastal malt distillery located outside Speyside town of Buckie, Inchgower was built in 1871. It was notably acquired by Arthur Bell & Sons in 1938, becoming a key component of its Bell's blends. It remains primarily in service to blended Scotch brands today as part of the extensive Diageo portfolio. This Inchgower 1977 Horae Solaris was bottled in 1998 and imported to Italy by Moon Import, an iconic Italian independent bottler founded in Genoa in 1980 by Pepi Mongiardino. Moon Import is revered for its pioneering approach to the labelling and presentation of independent bottlings, particularly its use of serialised releases, many of which have become all-time classic collections.
