Nose
A lot of dry sherry notes supported by yellow fruit notes from bourbon cask. Slightly dusty with leather, old wood, dried peaches and plums. Hints of pink grapefruit, sour cranberries, juicy yellow plums, pineapple, mocha, fruit tea, and aniseed.
Palate
Sharp on arrival, dry and peppery with red chili. Lots of dried fruits like dates, peaches, and plums. Some wet wood and syrupy orange notes. Bright fruity notes of grapefruit, passion fruits, raspberries, and guava juice. Spicy heat and a little tobacco.
Finish
Mellows quickly but stays rich. Slightly dry with lots of fruit, tropical fruits including mango and pineapple. Long, drier with cinnamon, plums, and fruit tea.
