Description

Piccadily is the largest independent manufacturer and seller of malt spirits in India. The distillery has six Scottish-style copper pot stills (three wash stills and three spirit stills). Together they produce 12,000 litres of malt spirit daily and four million litres annually. The height of the wash stills is 9.7 meters and the spirit stills is 5.7 metres. The wash stills resemble a lamp shape. Indri Dru Cask Strength is matured entirely in ex-bourbon barrels in a sub-tropical climate, which leads to accelerated aging and significant evaporation. 'Dru' translates to wood, tree, or vessel made of wood in Sanskrit, referring to a vessel used to collect and offer drink to the gods of Vedic mythology.
